Calm down people, I'm just writing a story.

CHAPTER 1:

Lee laid down on the hammock like she did every day. She was thinking about yesterday. She remembered the cup of coffee sitting on the broken table, miraculously unspilled. She remembered the cricket hopping across the navy blue carpet, trying to get away from the scene. She reached up to her forehead, gently feeling the bandages covering it.

Lee is a circus freak!

It's just a story? Good to hear.
BTW, it looks good so far. Followed so I can hear more.

CHAPTER 2:
Jacob was still learning how to tie his shoes. It was just impossible to do! He threw one of his shoes across the room and it hit the window. His mom was very upset. "You could have broken it", she said. Not like Jacob cared. He threw his other shoe at her and she got a bloody nose. Jacob got grounded. He went to his room and turned on the television. There was a commercial for shoes.

CHAPTER 3:
Freddie was announced dead at 6 AM. Only nobody cared about the announcement, because nobody knew him. None of the neighbors ever saw him, except for Lee when they both happened to look out the window at the same time. Lee thought it was a ghost because of all the scary stories she heard about the house. Freddie was arguably scarier than a ghost. He was a devil worshipper. He kidnapped children walking down the street at night and sacrificed them to the dark lord. It was a good thing Lee had a curfew. She was never affected by Freddie, luckily. There was only one time that some kid she sort of knew disappeared, but she assumed he just moved, because she never saw the kid's family again either. Almost like someone tried to get rid of the only people who would question the kid's disappearance...

CHAPTER 4:
Everything was spinning again. It was hard to tell what was what, everything was so blurry. Ben was having another panic attack that he couldn't get out of. He was so dizzy and out of breath that he walked into the door and bruised his nose. He stole some of his mom's makeup and put it on his nose so his parents wouldn't notice. He wouldn't dare let them find something abnormal about him. Not after last time. It's too bad there were so many abnormal things about Ben, since he lived in one of those towns where everyone was expected to be completely normal. It was also old-fashioned, so Ben would get beatings if he did something abnormal. It's pretty ironic that Ben would get a beating if his parents found out he had a bruise.

CHAPTER 6:
Maddie was much too shy for her own good. She would hide under a table every time she heard the door open. She had to be home-schooled because being in a classroom was too much for her. She never went out in public. Not to the store, not to the beach, not even down the road unless she was in the safety of the car. Everyone she ever met thought she was crazy. Well, almost everyone.

CHAPTER 7:
Lee, Jason, and Ben only had each other. Everyone else thought they were insane. Lee couldn't think straight, and people thought she was too unpredictable to be safe. Jason couldn't manage his anger. He couldn't make friends because he was always fighting with people, and scared them away. Everyone thought Ben was just plain creepy. People thought that the 3 of them were crazy enough on their own, but the 3 of them being together was madness in their eyes.
