I wanted to make a general thread about the Italian dub but I decided to do this instead

Some episode titles in the original dub don't fit with the tone of their episodes. In the italian dub there are better (list below), worse (ex : Squidward in Clarinet Land = Squidward's Clarinet), just as good (Club Spongebob = The Conch Club) or just as bad (Rodeo Daze = An Exciting Rodeo). So I compared it with the italian titles and here's where I think the italian title is better
Italian > English

Pickles = It's Pickles' Fault
Karate Choppers = Karate... What a Passion!
Sleepy Time = A Dream Tour
Patty Hype = Colors and Flavors
Squidville = A Paradise for Squidward
Pressure = A Land and Sea Challenge
The Smoking Peanut = The Case of the Giant Oyster
Krab Borg = Robot Fear
Clams = The Millionth Dollar
Ugh = Prehistoric Spongebob
Funny Pants = Belly Busting Laughs
Squid Wood = Miniature Squidward
Waiting = A Suffered Present
To Save a Squirrel = Survival Fight
To Squarepants or Not to Squarepants = New Pants
Shuffleboarding = Superheroes for a Day
Sand Castles in the Sand = The Sand Castles War
Chum Bucket Supreme = One Rocking Slogan
Truth or Square = Memories from the Freezer
Pineapple Fever = Stuck in a Pineapple
The Clash of Triton = The Rebellion of Triton
Yours, Mine and Mine = Mine and Just Mine
Kracked Krabs = Year's Cheapskate
The Great Patty Caper = The Secret Formula Pursuit
Hide and Then What Happens? = The Longest Hide and Seek Ever
Bubble Buddy Returns = Bubble Buddy's Son
The Good Krabby Name = The Advertising Campaign

Edit : Added Sleepy Time and removed some choices I don't agree with very much

What do you think? Are some english titles in the list still better in your opinion?

The italian title for Shuffleboarding is much more fitting for the episode itself than the english title, I admit.

The Italitan titles for "Shuffleboarding" and "The Good Krabby Name" are about 100x better than the English version, those are the first ones I can see right off the bat xD.

Your's, Mine and Mine is better in the English version

Porous Pockets is better in the English version, but I LOVE Karate Choppers Italian title.

imo the italian title describes better patrick's attitude in the episode
Well, both Spongebob and Patrick wanted it, but Patrick wanted it more. It works for the whole thing.

AND THE LONGEST HIDE AND SEEK EVER. I WONDER WHY THAT EPISODE FELT LIKE A CHORE.

Squidville is better in the English version.

It's Pickles' Fault is not better than the English title. :P Points for making me laugh though. Neither is A Dream Tour...I mean, what is that? Prehistoric Spongebob is better than Ugh.

These titles are more descriptive and straightforward, while most of the english titles are some kind of word play.

It's Pickles' Fault -> It's the Pickles' Fault (the Italian title for Pickles sounds better with 'the' added)

Whatever. It originated one of the best memes ever.

No matter what language they dub SpongeBob SquarePants, they have to change the names of the episodes to fit the language.
In the German dub of SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBob Schwammkopf) fore example, "Ripped Pants" is called "A Tear in the Trousers".

Although they'll sound better in Italian most of the English originals are better than the translations IMO: 'A Land and Sea Challenge' for Pressure, 'New Pants' for TSPoNTS, although 'A Dream Tour' for Sleepy Time and 'The Case of the Giant Oyster' for TSP are surprisingly better.

It's not that the translations are always better, but some of them match the episode as well as the original title. There are some lame titles such as "Squidward and his Clarinet" for Clarinetland, for example.
