I honestly feel like these are so much cuter than the designs used in the show. The only times when Spongebob looks ANYTHING like that are in the special off-model poses.

Ironically, he looks way closer to the pitch bible design in this cutaway gag from "Squid's Day Off"

and this special pose from "SpongeGuard On Duty"
