On this day...

I think it would be cool if we had a stickied thread where we can look back on SpongeBob events or episodes that occured on a certain day and discuss them, so I went out of my way to make one myself. Since today is January 19th, we'll talk about the episodes Missing Identity (2004), Plankton's Army (2004), and Plankton's Pet (2013).

Missing Identity - This episode, while not one of my favorite episodes, is a pretty great one. It features SpongeBob telling the story about how he lost his identity. One of my favorite parts of the episode is where SpongeBob keeps repeating the cycle of his day.

"It's the most important meal of the day, luh luh luh luh, Gary's way. Bleagh!"

Plankton's Army - I think this episode is better than Missing Identity IMO. In this episode, Sheldon Plankton gathers all of his relatives to try and steal the Krabby Patty formula. As it turns out, Plankton's relatives turn out to be a bunch of, erm, (how do I say this without offending people) southern stereotypes. They agree to help steal the formula in exchange for root beer. One of my favorite moments in the episode is this:

Plankton's Pet - This one is in the middle for me. Better than Missing Identity, but not as good as Plankton's Army. It did have its share of sweet moments in the episode. It probably won't become a recurring character, but Spot needs to return in a future episode.

Missing Identity: One of my all time Season 3 favorites. In my top 5 for sure. IT IS SO :dolphin noise:ING HILARIOUS! I could not praise this episode any more. "Gary's Way" is one of my favorite songs ever. Patrick was amazing here. What else can I say, I love this episode to death.

Plankton's Army: I'm the other way around with you on this one. It's #3 on my list of these 3 episodes. It's great for sure, but the other two are amazing. And the cousins are the best. Apparently there's a thing from the fanon wiki where Clem takes over the world...okay. http://spongefan.wikia.com/wiki/Clem%27s_Return

Plankton's Pet: I'm in the middle here. Not as good as missing identity, but better than Plankton's Army. This episode was really heartwarming. It was pretty funny too. And Spot HAS to return or else I will die.

Also, I think we should include international airdates too (not every country, just the big ones, like UK and such)

Anyway, here what I think about the episodes.

Missing Identity: I think this is a great episode. Lots of hillarious moments, like when SpongeBob taste sanilpo and when he keeps reenacting his routine over and over again. The opening and the ending (parody of old noir films) are pretty creative.

Plankton's Army: The first time (and not the last) SpongeBob is making fun of Southern stereotype. Okay, besides that the concept is very interesting, and the Sheldon scene is memorable.

Planktin's Pet: A pretty nice episode, but not too good because they relies too much on the "feel good" from Plankton being with Spot. I personally like Spot, and wish him to be included in future episodes.It would be awesome if Spot have a cameo in the movie.

Here are all the episodes that occurred on January 21st:
Mermaidman and Barnacleboy IV (2002) - Yep, the Wumbo episode. There's nothing much really special about this episode except it's the episode that gave us the Wumbo gag. Oh and it's a parody of "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids". And it was the first episode I recorded when I discovered the DVR on my TV. :P
Doing Time (2002) - This episode was much funnier than its partner. In this episode, Mrs. Puff gets arrested and SpongeBob and Patrick have to try and break her out of jail in hilarious ways. One of my favorite parts is when Fred Rechid cleans up while listening to "Surfin' Summer".
Welcome to the Chum Bucket (2002) - Again, another one of those episodes that isn't as interesting or memorable much. Really, the only memorable part of this episode is "This Grill is Not a Home". It's a good episode, but not as interesting.
Frankendoodle (2002) - Mehoynoynihoy! Really the best episode out of all of these four episodes. SpongeBob and Patrick find a "magic" pencil and create a bunch of drawings, including DoodleBob, who terrorizes SpongeBob and Patrick. My favorite part is when Patrick randomly yells out "Finland!" :rofl:

MM/BB IV: 9/10
