There have been quite a few Spongebob video games over the ages  Which ones have you played, and which ones are your favorite?

I've only played Battle for Bikini Bottom & The SB Movie game on the PS2. Surprisngly, the SB Movie Game is the only movie game I've EVER enjoyed, and when I worked at EB Games I'd tell some of the customers that xD Movie games are generally awful, but the SB Movie game was a great platformer like BFBB.

So lets hear your opinions! :coolio:

I liked the Movie game, Legend of the Lost Spatula, and Creature from the Krusty Krab.

Out of the one's I've played, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie is my favourite. The driving and sliding levels are addictive and the boss battle at the end with Goofy Goober Rock is great.

I'm glad you guys agree! It was like re-experiencing the movie in a fun way, which most movie games fail at :P

I love basically almost every SB game. Creature from the Krusty Krab was my favorite due to how unique it felt to other SpongeBob adventures and the amount of detail into each level's plots. Though recently I've been leaning towards Revenge of the Flying Dutchman due to its' music/scenery and easy going personality. PC wise I'd say either the SB Movie or Employee of the Month. I've watched some DS ones as well.

PS2 Battle for Bikini Bottom and the Movie game are absolute favorites (and super nostalgic!). BFBB just had great level design and were a lot of fun, which is what I look for in a game and I like the Movie's variety of levels like the SpongeBall and Patty Wagon :pattywagon: ones. I also really enjoy SB Drawn to Life, because it has the creativity and customization of the first game and drawing + SB. What more could you want? :P

I'll pick Drawn to Life since that the better of the ONLY TWO SPONGEBOB GAMES I HAVE. I rarely play video games.

- Revenge of The Flying Dutchman (GC): A simpler game that it's still fun to play and I do like the music in it. :P
- Battle For Bikini Bottom (GC): Best SpongeBob game ever. Nostalgia for anybody, really.
- The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie Game (GC): It's just as good as BFBB.
- Lights, Camera, Pants! (GC): A fun little game to play once in awhile.
- Creature of The Krusty Krab (GC): While not as good as The Movie Game or Battle For Bikini Bottom, it has pros for itself to make it an interesting concept and a fun game. Too bad I lost it. :(
- SpongeBob's Boating Bash (Wii/DS): I'm a sucker for demolition derby/racing games, so I had to by this one and it was so fun. ^_^ It has lost a little fun, but it's still a good game if you like destroying other cars, racing and other stuff. I did buy the DS one before I got the Wii version, but don't get the DS version. The Wii version is much better.
- SpongeBob Squigglepants (3DS): Another fun Warioware-type game. I love all the different art styles that are used in here.

Bumping because I just remembered another SpongeBob game I used to play and like. No, it wasn't on any of the main consoles like the Wii, PlayStation, or Xbox, but it was one of those games you plug into your TV and play. Here's what it looked like:

I should get around to playing this game again. It was very fun back in the day.

Old Man Leeroy, I still have that!! :)
Also, Battle for Bikini Bottom for the win! Really enjoy Lights, Camera, Pants! and Drawn to Life as well!

The only SB Games I've played would be in the form of apps for the iPhone and those are "SpongeBob Dash" (parody/rip-off of "Diner Dash"), and "My Bikini Bottom". Sooo.... yeah.

Is his *nose* a joystick, or am I just seeing things?
(I only vaguely remember these types of games you plugged directly into your TV instead of consoles with cartrages or discs..)

Yeah, you use his nose as the joystick for the games.

SuperSponge (PS1)
Pretty boring game. Can't figure out how to get past the giant jellyfish.

Battle for Bikini Bottom (PS2)
::DOLPHINNOISE::ING AMAZING. I've said it over and over again, but this game got some awesome music, amazing level design, and fun gameplay.

SpongeBob the Movie (PS2 ,Gameboy & PC)
^^^^ Same as above

Lights, Camera, Pants! (PS2)
A fun game, the minigames are fun. I wish I had friends to play them with :(

Atlantis SquarePantis (PS2 & Gameboy)
The PS2 version are horrendous, boring gameplay. Meanwhile the Gameboy is a fun, but tedious platformer.

Creatures From Krusty Krab (PS2 & Gameboy)
The gameplay is a bit repetitive for both version, but the PS2 version came with awesome original art in the loading screen.

SpongeBob Diner Dash (PC)
Just a re-skin of the original. So as fun as the original.

Nighty Nightmare (PC)
Kinda boring and shallow. Althought the last Plankton level with sudden strategy element was fun.

The Yellow Avenger (PSP)
Boring and tedious, although it's kinda funny actually.

Truth or Square (Xbox 360)
Actually an amazing game. Although it's a bit shallow compared to BFBB, but it got nice levels and fun gameplay.

Surf & Skate Roadtrip (Xbox 360)
Another disappointment of a Kinect game. The gameplay consist only of leaning left and right until you win.

Atlantis Squarepantis Square-Off (PC)
A very underrated SpongeBob game. Basically the game is a casual Turn-based strategy. Sorta like Final Fantasy Tactics or Advanced War.

I've never had any of the older consoles, and I think the very least I played a bit of the Movie game elsewhere, but I don't remember it at all. :(

Bumping this topic.
Am I the only one who thinks that ROTFD is... creepy? The levels just seem so dark and bleak... I guess it's just that the out-of-character moments, the inhuman movements, and the bad lighting just make everything seem like some sort of fever dream.

It was made in like what, 2001? Considering it was back then and the main villain is a ghost, my guess would be that it's supposed to feel like that minus the movements honestly.

No, I mean that some of the normal levels (Downtown, Goo Lagoon) feel kinda unintentionally creepy.

I'm pretty sure Downtown had like dangerous things like construction sites and it was at night if I remember so that explains it. :p
