New Theme Song?

Why wasn't the theme song reanimated for widescreen HD in Season 9? Do you think there's any chance they'll do it for the second half of Season 9 or Season 10? Personally, I'd like them to do it only if they match every single frame up and don't give it any changes. I wouldn't want them to do what The Simpsons did when it went HD and change anything, but I wouldn't care if the original was reanimated frame by frame.

Also, if they were to do it, do you think they would/should use the new logo? Personally, the old one is more nostalgic to me, but I don't mind the new one and wouldn't care if it was used in the intro.

I'd be okay if they reanimated the theme song and modified it for HD. As long as they don't change the song itself :p

As for the logo, yeah, might as well if you are going to change the theme song.

I don't mind the logo.

these kinds of threads are the ones that never become anything and vanish in and instant, forgotten because nobody cares enough about a new theme song because they're too busy posting hate comments about 2006-Present SpongeBob

Those two logos look similar to me. The new logo looks brighter and more modern than the old one, though.
