Some releases for the movie in the Mega Bloks line. Of course, we all know Mega Bloks is pretty much LEGO, but a gimmick. Even if Mega Blocks was any good, I think that it would have been much better off with LEGO, as it is more well-known, it will be noticed far more and will grab some actual revenue and followers for the film. Plus, they wouldn't seem gimmicky. I mean, it's not like LEGO doesn't have the license for Nickelodeon, they're well stocked on TMNT stuff.

I will admit, they did a great job at capturing the characters in Minifigure form, possibly even better than LEGO. And, they also gave us insight on an actual time machine in the film. The actual playsets besides the figures are garbage, though.

Well, maybe if Nick didn't move SpongeBob to a cheaper company just to give TMNT the star treatment, then maybe we would have Lego sets.

I don't understand the Mega Bloks hate. I've played with a mix of both of them and I don't notice any difference except for the figures. Also, how are the Mega Blok sets gimmicky? In my opinion, the sets are alot better than LEGO sets as some were really bare boned especially the 2009 Krusty Krab set and the 2013(?) Conch Street set.
