Worst Scene In Spongebob History

That scene is awful- but Squidward's own toenail getting ripped off is plain revolting and gory.

I knew people were going to bring up the toenail scene. Though as much as I like House Fancy, I can't blame them. The toenail scene is pretty horrifying.

I think it's when Mr. Krabs pulls off SpongeBob's splinter at the end of The Splinter.

Both the splinter, and the toenail, are the worst ever. I could never watch the clips.

Toenails and splinters aside, the worst scene in SpongeBob for me would be that flippin' ending of Gone. I don't care if it is a decent parody of fans' hatred of the sponge now, Nards, it's still terribly mean-spirited and totally inconsiderate of all the good things SpongeBob's done in the past. (Honestly, if they go through all that effort to go to the middle of nowhere to build giant effigies of SB and burn them, why don't they just kill the guy? It's implied in that episode that nobody really likes him, not even his best friends, so why would the police give a damn if they did away with SB altogether? Sad thing is, there are probably "fans" out there who would enjoy seeing that happen. <_<)

Also, even though I don't think these scenes are that bad, the suicide jokes in Are You Happy Now? seem to have pissed off enough fans of the show to be considered some of the worst material in the show itself even though there have been suicidal jokes with Squidward before, but I digress.

The worst scene, in my opinion, would be the ending to A Pal For Gary. Spongebob, why are you such an oblivious jerk in this episode?

My worst is the entirely of Little Yellow Book. If you're wondering, my best part of the show is the 'CHOCOLATE FISH!'

Im surprised that the Pineapple Fever bit where Squidward RIPS OFF HIS OWN EYEBROW hasn't gotten much hate.

The part where Spongebob tortures himself for the children's entertainment in Krabby Land. It really showed how far Mr. Krabs' greed can go.

Yeah, that was a real low point for Eugene. Those kids weren't any better, though. Even as a kid, I thought they were friggin' sadists. >_<

Definiatly the toe nail scene.
But I don't find any of the splinter scenes to be horrifying.

I'd say the absolute worst scene is the Having Tea and Casserole with Vacuum scene in Squid's Visit. That scene is the main reason why Squid's Visit is my least favorite episode.

SpongeBob scolding Gary in A Pal for Gary, the toenail scene in House Fancy (but I liked this episode) and when Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs and Squidward calling SpongeBob "Idiot Boy" in WhoBob WhatPants.

I agree with you. The ending of Gone is my least favorite scene too. It's just so cold and callous, I couldn't believe what I was watching, it literally made me feel sick to my stomach. The toenail scene is revolting, but it didn't have much of an effect on me, to be honest. It's easy to ignore and pretend it doesn't exist, and I've seen grosser. The ending of Gone was just a HUGE slap in the face and I still feel sick when I think about it.

Runner-ups would be the scene in One Coarse Meal where Mr. Krabs laughs about what a mess Plankton is while Plankton is attempting suicide and the scene in A Pal For Gary where SpongeBob is somehow completely oblivious to Gary about to be eaten by Puffy Fluffy. The former from One Coarse Meal is at least relatively short and to be fair I think we're supposed to think Krabs is horrible here, though I wonder why the writers would want to portray him that way. The one from A Pal For Gary is rage-inducing, but at least anger fades. The ending of Gone continues to haunt me, so I think it's the worst.
