This is what I mean for myself. I've watched the episodes so many times in the last almost 15 years. The oldest literally probably a thousand plus times each. Nearly everyday I watch reruns. And I've rewatched them so many times I seriously get a sick feeling (in the pit of me wallet). I get overly annoyed with the simple well known quotes, I check the SB forums many times a day for news. I read and read the books and comics. I also check the Twitter/FB/Tumblr every couple days. I feel like I see the same old SB pictures everywhere online. It's just driving me nuts. I've come to the point where I really don't need to watch TV (except my westerns which I started only to watch for the sake of Pest of the West really). My style/hair color was only because of whatever SB character I currently am obsessing about. I live for the references and my theories. I say dozens of quotes throughout my day, offline and online. The only show I need is SB. It's distracted me from school when I was still in it, and it takes a chunk of my life today. Call me a dork, a goofball, a dingnut, Knuckle McSpazzatron. But I just can't help it... :wetpaint: How about you?

tl:DR

I can't do this, SBM. I can't do this.

Every reference, every quote; CHOCOLATE! MAYONNAISE! WUMBO!

Don't you understaaaaand? My brain is full to bursting. If I have to watch a single another episode, I think I'm going to EXPLOODDE!

Ahem. Or maybe I'm being a baby as Krabs or Squidward might say. You decide!

I'm honestly the same way, except there's still episodes I haven't seen from season 8. Despite that, getting back into SB basically made me a child inside again. I also only watch re-runs that have SB, Patrick, and/or Sandy (Ironic how I'm watching The Original Fry Cook/Night Light on Nicktoons as I type :p ).

All I do at home recently is watch re-runs, check SBM, or read SB fanfics (shamefully) and at school I survey my classmates' opinions on the show. I got about 4 pre-movie fans back into SB, found out a lot of my classmates support Spandy, and got pretty much everyone hyped on the second movie. I quote/make references a lot, whether at school or home (I recently made my whole Government class do the victory screech. I felt so accomplished :D ).

SB has always been a favorite, and I don't see myself getting tired of the show anytime soon  unless season 10 turns out like season 6/7 in quality.

Yes, I have been for a few months now.

Been more of a Peanuts Comics fan, but when something amazing that's SpongeBob-Related happens, I think I'd get back Into the show more.

no i am not tired of spongebob and never ever will be,because spongebob is all i have at this point for a awesome nickelodeon cartoon.

I think that it's very reasonable to not be excited about something that one enjoys after experiencing it so many times, especially over short periods of time. Heck, I've caught up on almost seven years of SpongeBob since I started watching again last year (more if you count "behind the scenes" type things), and I've already reached the point of refusing to watch most reruns because it's too much. I could never imagine going through fifteen straight years of the same exact thing, no matter how much I enjoy it.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to step away for a while. Break up the routine. Or maybe just try looking at it from a different angle if you don't want to be too far away. It doesn't make you any less of a fan. It just makes you human, and that's a pretty understandable thing to be.

I feel like there's more to be said, but I'm not the best with words so I'll just give everyone a virtual hug.
-hugs-

I fell that I'm the only SpongeBob fan remaining in Indonesia, as more an more people become weeaboos anime fans.

I go through times when I am tired of different aspects, mainly because I burn myself out on them. Sometimes I don't feel like discussing the same things over and over again so don't post in the topics as much. Sometimes I barely watch any episodes for weeks because I already know them so well. But I never completely stop thinking about the show for any significant length of time. Which, to be honest, can be frustrating. It makes it difficult to do other things, and a thing that's frustrating me about the show can ruin my whole day (or week, or month). But most of the time it makes me really happy, so I dread the day I fully tire of this show. My life would be empty without the hours of obsessive research. :P

Right now, I'm on a low, but it fluctuates per year. I'm either very, very into the show, or just barely into it.

I do go through some phases where I don't feel the show excites me enough as it normally would :P but it's an obsession I'm almost guaranteed to never lose. I remember back in 2006, I told myself I'd be tired of the show by 2007, that obviously did not happen. :P

Yes, i'm beginning to get sick of the show. I haven't watched in a couple months, and every time I go to update my list, I feel really bored and useless doing it.

Well, for me there are a lot of episodes that I've seen 30+ times and it can get tiring sometimes but no matter what, I'll always love the show and I don't think i'll be taking a break from it anytime soon.

I've seen every episode over 50 times, but I'll never get tired of the show. For me, SpongeBob will always make me laugh, no matter how many times I watch an episode. The only ones I get tired of are the ones they air way too often.

I do get minor obsessions that could come close to SpongeBob, but they usually last one or two weeks, rarely longer. My SpongeBob obsession has lasted almost 10 years :P so I won't get tired soon :)

Yes. I started getting caught up in other things in August, so I've been less active during September & October. I've watched nearly every episode a hundred times now, and I'm starting to get sick of them.

I'm sort of tired of SB too. I have never seen Jailbreak! all the way through and have only seen Safe Deposit Krabs on its premiere.

I have a lot of different fandoms that I go back and forth between. Sometimes I'll get into a fandom for a short while and then grow out of it, but usually when I get into a fandom, I'm in it for life. I may stay away from it for a long time, perhaps years, but I'll always end up coming back to it eventually. That's what happened with SpongeBob, although I did have a specific reason for staying away from it so it's a bit different.

I sort of go through phases with my fandoms. Like, I'll be really into Pokemon for a while, and then I'll tire of it and move on to something else. I'll still like Pokemon and be glad to discuss it with people, but I won't obsess over it to extreme degrees. I just move between my fandoms randomly. Nothing is ever completely forgotten, but they won't always be my focus. My focus shifts sporadically, there's no telling how long I'll be obsessed with something, what my next obsession will be or when I'll go back to the first obsession.

Am I making sense? I don't think I'm doing a very good job explaining this. And I haven't really answered the question.

I am getting a little tired of SB, actually. After I finish watching/reviewing Season 8 and 9 (assuming it's complete by the time I get to it), I'll probably stop watching the show for a while. I'll still come on SBM for the community, but my interest in the actual show will be down. Eventually I'll regain interest in the show, but it may take a while.

No, but certain episodes get me tired.
I've seen every episode at least 5 times (With the exceptions of: Safe Deposit Krabs, Are You Happy Now?, SpongeBob you're fired, and maybe two or three others).
This is my watching schedule:
At home, I'll watch episodes I haven't seen on cable once. If there's a certain episode that I really want to watch again, or an episode a friend wants to see, I'll stream it through Amazon Instant Video on a Roku device.
At my grandparents house, I watch reruns and DVDs all the time (around 6 episodes per day- I know, it's unhealthy).
Anywhere else, I usually don't have time to watch SpongeBob. Sometimes I'm able to catch an episode or two in my hotel room.

I'll be honest, I don't really watch it anymore. I watched it daily for about two years during the hiatus, or at least it felt like that.

Same thing has happened with Friends. I used to watch that all the time but now I can't, you just get sick of watching the same thing. That's why eventually you move on and shows end.
