Look, before you mutilate me for getting a season 1 episode on this list, please let me speak my defense okay? This was a decent episode, I'll give you that. But it's, well, it's pretty meh. It doesn't give you that sense of fun when you watch it. You know, it lacks, passion, and well, it's boring. I mean really, boring. There are some great parts, I'll give you that. Really, some of the parts are good. But, I don't know, it's not giving me a good feeling when it's on. I would've expected better. The plot wasn't original, the jokes (except for the 11 minute joke) wasn't quite funny, and well, it's simply too young. It's not the better of the bunch, ain't it? It could've been 2 or 3 places higher if it weren't for the fact that it's the first episode I ever saw.

The characters are pretty dull and still. The show somehow lost it's charm with the characters. Squidward was normally desperate, so I won't get on that. The one character that got on my nerves is Patrick. He wasn't just SAD. He was pathetically desperate. I think this episode shows how sometimes, the best guys can have a bad day at the office. Patrick was so desperate he didn't contribute a single funny line. Not A SINGLE FUNNY LINE FROM PATRICK STAR. He really did spurn off his normal character. He was the epitome of idiocy. Not the king of desperate wishes and ways, that was Squid's tittle. SpongeBob was charming I'll give it that. He was optimistic and confident. Sandy was, well, composed. Krabs was wise, and very kind. Overall, this episode explained the term : Meh.

I completely agree with you. Patrick and SpongeBob both POED me in this eppy.
 
I agree. Nature Pants was just boring and fell flat on its face. The only funny thing in the episode is Squidward throwing a party after Patrick said "Even Squidward misses you."
 
SpongeBob was definitely the worst character in Nature Pants. He was so OOC to think he had a home with the JELLYFISH. -_-
...but I'm ready to see moar of this list. :weehammer:
 
Yay, another Roadie list to follow!! And I kind of liked NP but it is no where near as good as other pre-movie episodes.
 
I totally agree with roadie. Nature Pants wasn't great D:
 
No fan of Nature Pants....

When I was little, I used to feel SO BAD for Patrick cause he was basically trying to get his OOC friend to COME BACK TO THE NORMAL SIDE OF THINGS, and the sponge sort of ticked me off by pushing poor Pat away by basically running AWAY from him. Yep, cause that's what best friends do... :|

I know probably, a lot of you liked this episode. But for some reasons, I don't. It's like a disgusting version of Nature Pants. It's not very funny, and not very clean. But I guess you know how sometimes, I really hate to start off things with a bad note. I'll start with praises. The premises are good. I love the ways SB tried to get rid of the gum. Plus, it's partner in-crime should die in a pit of lava and then mutilated by a hungry pack of velociraptors. But then, that's all. Those are the only good things about the episode. I completely hate SB's "reasons" to make gummy look good. And then Gummy itself. Donkey arse, that thing is disgusting. A pair of undies came out of it and then it crawls, just to say that SB's not Patrick. Seriously, that's traumatizing. I can bet kids will have a hard time learning to wear undies after that scene. The ending was sick and icky, too.

The characters are again, a major problem. SpongeBob, hmmmm, this is a hard one. The guy isn't very funny in this episode, to be honest. He was traumatize, really. He was sick, and tired of the ::dolphin noise:: gum, and I'm not blaming him. That gum is the last thing anyone could amass. And yet Patrick does. Speaking of which. Patrick was completely fooled in this episode. I just hate how he is "trying" to be all matured and yet still got completely jacked by SpongeBob. The other reccuring casts were pretty dull. Sandy and Squidward didn't do any amusements to the cheering crowds, didn't they? And then gummy. *barfs and pukes*. Well, that's all I can say about the gum. So, guys, that's the end of my review. I'll see you at 48, thank you, and goodbye.
