I've been wondering for a while now why there are so many different Old Man Jenkins' on SpongeBob. There have been five different Old Man Jenkins so far, although the last one I don't think has ever been called Old Man Jenkins on the show, I don't think (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) so he might not even be Old Man Jenkins. Which one of these is your fave and why do you think there have been so many different versions of Old Man Jenkins? Do you think the writers overlooked it at first and then it started to be a running gag? Also, which version of Old Man Jenkins do you think should go in a SpongeBob display?:

The many different faces of Old Man Jenkins is intentional. It's part of the joke. My favorite is the bran flakes one since he's in the most episodes. (Although you're right, I don't think they've ever actually called him Old Man Jenkins.) So my 2nd favorite would probably be from "The Sponge Who Could Fly."

Funny, the day after I saw this topic, they showed the episode with the My Pretty Seahorse Old Man Jenkins.

My favourite is the one seen in "As Seen on TV", I don't really like the Old Man Jenkins seen in the post-movie episodes as much though. (In "Friend or Foe" and "The Main Drain")

Which Old Man Jenkins was in that game?

I don't remember seeing this Old Man Jenkins in any episodes but in the video game he's an taller, slender, old dude with a old fighter cap on.

My favorite Old Man Jenkins is the one on As Seen On Tv.
Yeah the shorter, squat old man jenkins with glasses is one of the best!

My favorite is definitley the one from "As Seen on TV", "The Algae's Always Greener", etc. as he is the most commonly-appeared and also hilarious.

Here are his best quotes:

(to a pole) "Pardon me, young lady!"
"What a nice cereal box!"
(while floating in the sky) "Wait...What's going on?...woah!"
(about Patrick's song) "I like it!"
"Locked in again!"
:xP:

Also it seems that Old Man Jenkins sometimes has a gf/wife. In Money Talks his lady seems to be the older lady in B.B. They don't show many female senior citizens on the show and she seems to be the only one. I can't really remember her name or if they even mentioned her name before.

I noticed while watching "Mermaidman and Barnacleboy" the other day that the Old Man Jenkins from "Sailor Mouth" and the old man from "As Seen on TV" were in the same room at the same time at Shady Shoals.

Sometimes Old Man Jenkins is in a wheelchair and sometimes he isn't. During the episode Gone when S.B. was portraying all the characters, he did Old Man Jenks in a wheelchair as well. I'm not sure if the guy in the wheelchair is suppose to be Old Man Jenkins or not because no one actually calls him that....

The guy in the wheelchair is the first old guy to be called Old Man Jenkins (he's the one driving the jalopy in "Sailor Mouth" and "Missing Identity" and the guy SpongeBob potrays in "Gone." Seen in this picture:

The old man from "The Algea's Always Greener" and "As Seen on TV" has never been called Old Man Jenkins though as far as I can remember. I'm still confused as to rather he's another version of Old Man Jenkins or not.

O_o LoL maybe he's just an old guy. You know this is probably some sort of inside joke by the writers. I read somewhere that the writers and animators of the show will do stuff like have an on-going joke about the characters of the show.

Yeah, they are messing with our heads! Trying to confuse us. I think they have succeeded. :rofl2:
